What is twerking?
Twerking originates from African tribal dance and is now known, among other things, from music videos and dance shows. Here at home, twerking has also become widespread from social media. In recent years, twerking has become much more popular as a form of exercise and as an alternative to fitness. We recommend wearing a pair of loose trousers or shorts so that you have as much freedom of movement as possible when you twerk.
Twerk classes for everyone
At Elitepole, we offer group lessons in twerking for all levels from beginner to advanced. We teach a wide range of techniques and exercises within twerking, and ensure that everyone can join the classes as we always adapt the teaching after your experience and level. Twerk is effective and fun training, and twerk in Copenhagen has become incredibly popular and in demand. You will leave the class being sweaty, happier and with a good experience richer. We believe that training can be both fun and effective at the same time.
If you are interested in other workouts we also offer: flexibility training, aerial hoop teaching and pole dancing.
Try twerk classes in Copenhagen
You will be able to experience a renewed relationship with yourself and your body by pushing your personal boundaries a little, and experience that you can learn something completely new. In our twerk lessons in Copenhagen, the results are not only physical, but can also happen on a mental level. It can be overwhelming to dance with a whole class of people you don't know, but we always create a safe and positive learning environment in the classes, so you get a positive learning experience. Twerking in Copenhagen is also a perfect activity with friends, as you can train together while having a good laugh and a fun experience. Many try twerk for the first time at for example, a bachelorette party , and ends up starting in our regular classes. It is of course also possible to combine twerk training with our other classes such as pole dancing or aerial hoop, which most people do, as these forms of training complement each other well.
