Frequently asked questions

FAQ is useful for you to take a look at, if you are a new member or looking for an answer to a specific question. In case you don’t find the answer to your question here, you are very welcome to contact us.


It depends on the class you’ve signed up for. Under the menu Classes you can see what we recommend you to wear for each specific class.
Generally, for all pole classes you should bring:

  • Shorts and regular training clothes (shorts aren’t necessary for hen/stag parties)
  • We generally train barefoot in regular pole classes
  • A small towel to wipe off the pole
  • A bottle for water

For flexibility classes, it’s a good idea to bring some warm training clothes, as you will get the most out of the class, if your body is kept warm throughout the class, even when you are lying still in some of the stretches.

Yes you can! Very few people are already strong or flexible when they start, as this is something you will achieve by starting and not a prerequisite to start. Our beginner classes (Pole Level 1), is designed to build the fundamental strength from scratch, so everyone can take part. We have no expectations of your current fitness level, strength or flexibility. It is a general misconception, that you have to be extremely strong or flexible to start training pole, which definitely isn’t true. You can come just as you are. If you want to build strength and flexibility, then our Pole Level 1 and flexibility classes are just right for you.

Becoming a member is quickly and easy online. When you have signed up you will be registered in our system, and receive a welcome mail with your personal login information for our booking system. You can then use your membership. The first time you show up to training, you have to ask the instructor for your membership card and sign a contract.

We have an age limit of 16 years. This means that no individuals below the age of 16 years are allowed to participate in the classes or stay in the training room during class. If your child is at an age where he/she can remain unattended while you are training, then your child is very welcome to stay in our member’s area with some toys, a book, an Ipad etc. while you train. This is at your own risk.

If you are between 16 and 18 years of age and want to sign up, you will need the signature of a parent or guardian on the membership contract, which must be delivered at your first practice at the studio.

No, unfortunately not. It’s neither allowed to be a spectator on the classes nor bring guests to the training room if they are not participating in the class. Everyone who stays in the room the room during class must participate actively. Few people like spectators while they train, which we respect. If you want to experience what our training is like, please book a trial class and join in. Everyone can take part!

Phone policy:
We kindly ask all students to refrain from using their phone during training. Your phone must be on silent and put away during class, so it doesn’t disturb other participants and to keep your focus.

Picture/video policy:

We understand if you want to take photos/videos of your training, but you must always ask the instructor first if this is okay and get clear consent from everyone appearing in the photo/video (please ask before you film/take a picture).

If you would like to post the picture/film in public you must also get clear consent from everyone appearing in the photo/video (please ask everyone if it’s okay if you for example post this on your social media).

If needed there might be a few minutes towards the end of the class dedicated to filming, so it doesn’t interfere with anyone’s training. Just ask your instructor in the class, if you would like some time for photos/video in the class.

It is always okay to say no to be in videos/pictures with no further explanation. ElitePole understands and supports individual boundaries and protecting a comfortable and safe training environment is one of our top priorities.

If you have a monthly membership you will pay automatically with your card each month. Try out classes and single classes are paid online before you can make a booking. Hen / stag parties can be paid with a bank transfer.

The membership can be terminated at any time after the expiration of the binding period. At the termination the member must pay for the current month plus the following month, according to the termination rules below. The member can terminate the membership after the 4 months of binding period (if the chosen membership has a binding period) and after the end of the current month plus the following month. The membership termination request must be sent via email to kontakt@ElitePole.dk. The e-mail must contain the full name of the member, membership number and the last payment date.

The termination will be valid only if the member has provided correct information about the membership number, last payment date, given there is no binding period left and the request has been sent within the above-mentioned rules. If any doubts arise in regard to the membership termination, it is the member’s responsibility to prove that the termination has been carried out in compliance with the above-mentioned procedure. It is not possible to terminate the membership while it is being put on hold, but only after 1 payment after the membership has been put on hold in compliance with the above-mentioned procedure. The termination can not be done retrospectively.

If you wish to put your membership on hold, we must receive a written statement by mail no later than the 15th of the month, if the hold period should start by the next month. After the 15 of the month, the coming payments are sent, and you will have to wait till the subsequent month for your membership to be on hold.
Your membership can only be on hold for whole months at a time, that is to say from the 1st to the 1st of the following month. Your break/hold period can last for a maximum of 6 months, for the price of 100 kr. for the whole period, that is paid at the coming payment period. Your statement and the information is to be sent to kontakt@ElitePole.dk with your membership number. Your statement of the hold period is only valid if the mentioned information is correct. Should there be any doubt whether a statement has been sent, it is always the responsibility of the member to prove this.

Please note that it is not possible to resign your membership while your membership is on hold, but after the first payment after your break/hold period has ended.

Yes. If you wish to change your membership to another type of membership, this is possible after the eventual  binding period period (e.g. from unlimited monthly training to a max. 5 classes per month). All types of changes to your membership must be written by mail to kontakt@elitepole.dk, whereafter you must sign your new membership contract at your next visit to the studio. The price of changing your membership is 100 kr. Unless you are upgrading a monthly membership, which is free of cost.

We are open during the hours you can see on the schedules. We always open the studios approximately 10 min. before the first class of the day. Please be aware that if you show up more than 10 min. early for the first class of the day, the gate/door will be locked, and you will have to wait outside until we are ready to open the studio.

If you are late for a class, you don’t have to do anything yourself. A soon as the class has started, it is not possible to be checked in for the class in our system, and you will be charged a fee for not showing up in time for a booked class – regardless of the reason as to why you are late and how late you are. There is also a risk that your spot on the class is passed on to someone on the waiting list. If your spot is passed on, you will still be charged a fee for being late. Please note: If you are late and have missed parts of the warm up, the instructor might not let you participate in the class due to safety reasons. This is for your own safety.

We recommend you show up 5 min. before the class starts, so you have time to check in, change clothes and be ready for the start of the class.

If your payment is missing we will try to charge you automatically the first 5 days of the month. If we are still missing your payments your membership will be inactivated until you have paid, which means that you cannot train until we have received the payment. You will get charged a fee on 100 kr. for every reminder we send to your email. If we do not receive the payment, the case is passed on to an external debt collection service that is in charge of charging the owed amount. ElitePole cooperates with Intrum Inkasso. As soon a case is passed on to Intrum, we can no longer answer any questions regarding your bill, and all communication must be made directly with Intrum, who will contact you.

All procedures are according to the danish laws.

Regardless of which membership you have, you have a max. amount of 2 bookings in the system at once (except the membership to all studio’s for 449 kr. which has 4 bookings).  This certainly does not mean you can only train 2 times (or 4 times) per week, as you can make new bookings as soon you have spent the ones you’ve made. So you can still train as often as you want if you have unlimited training.

We have experienced that more bookings at a time result in many bookings too far out in the future and many fully booked classes, but many cancelations on the actual day, as it can be hard to schedule your training far in advance. The system with max 2 (or 4) bookings is therefore to everybody advantage. The idea is that you can plan your training 1-2 days in advance.
With a max of 2 bookings at a time, we also reduce the risk of injuries due to overtraining among our members, as you can book 2 classes per day only. If you train several hours and days in a row, it often won’t be safe, and we want to take care of you, so you can have a strong and healthy body for many years.

If your color is yellow on the booking app, it means you are on the waiting list for the class. If you are on the waiting list, you don’t have to show up at the studio or check in, as you don’t have a spot in the class. If you are on a waiting list, you have to check the booking app yourself to see if you have a spot in the class. You can see min. 4 hours before the start of the class, if you got a spot in the class or not.
If you are on the waiting list and show up at the studio, you have a prior right for a spot, in case someone doesn’t show up or is late. It’s a good idea to use the waiting list system, as there is a big chance you will get a spot in the class.

If you lose your membership card, then just ask the instructor to make you a new one next time you show up for training. It can be done instantly and costs 80 kr., that can be charged over your next payment.
